Why is America so delicate with the enemy?
Esteemed author and Hoover Institution researcher Shelby Steele wrote an excellent article for the Wall Street Journal. He explains why in the last few decades America fights wars with so much restraint. Why don't we just annihilate the enemy? Mr. Steele claims it is because of "white guilt," and as a nation we need to get over these feelings so we can tackle our most profound problems. The Humble Patriot highly recommends this article.
