Cindy Sheehan is at it again, this time pressuring the Canadian government to give refuge to U.S. military deserters. Read about it at the Globe and Mail. Of course, desertion is a serious crime. U.S. service members are subject to the Uniform Code of Military justice, which allows for punishment by death for desertion during times of war.
