CNN: Part of the Opposition Playbook in Iraq?

Hot Air: CNN airs video of jihadi sniper shooting American soldier

Does anybody disagree that we are at war? What is it with CNN these days? They apparently have dubious relationships with these terrorist groups (CNN uses the euphemism insurgent groups), as they are able to obtain videotape from the Islamic Army of Iraq showing one of their sniper teams targeting U.S. forces in Iraq.

Everyone knows this is a public relations campaign on the part of the terrorist groups aimed at influencing the American public. Clearly the terrorist groups use CNN and other news media as useful idiots in their cause.

When hubby was in Iraq and at a time I hadn't heard from him in three or four days, CNN's Aaron Brown aired footage of a dead American soldier lying in a Baghdad gutter.

Now, no names or faces were shown, and there was no blood being flashed, but the only thought that crossed my mind was, "Someone watching this show tonight is going to have a chaplain show up at their house tomorrow morning at 6 am; and they will scream, "OH MY GOD! That was my BABY I saw dead last night!"

This made me very angry. I even wrote Aaron Brown about it. His response? "With all due respect, I don't think it was that bad."

This is nothing new to CNN.
